How X Rays Help
One of the ways that I can determine where your lower back pain is coming from is X rays. Now, many offices around the area don’t even take X rays of your lower back or your neck or any X rays at all. We still rely on X ray, so that we can find out the root cause and really pinpoint where the problems are. So we go above and beyond in our X rays, so we actually take four views of the lower back spine. So we really are much more comprehensive than a lot of offices around the area, we take a front to back picture, which is standing this way. We also take a side picture, which is standing this way to see a side view of the lower back. Then we go a little further and take what we call motion X rays, right and left lateral flexion X rays.
Comprehensive Treatment to Identify The Root Cause
So we can see, I want to see if those spinal bones are actually moving like they should be moving. And then when you come in, we can actually compare normal X rays to what your actual x rays look like. And I can pinpoint with arrows and measurements and show you exactly where there is proper motion and movement and where there is not. Then I know, as a Chiropractic Doctor of Chiropractic, where specifically I need to work to help take pinching, and pressure off the nerves. X rays help alleviate your back pain and get to the root cause of the problem. Then we can always go back to retake pictures at the end to make sure we’ve actually corrected the problem.
